Tranquil Heights //

Small rocks, shattered pieces of stone in a constant wave of movement. I enter a prehistoric world, feeling like an intruder from the modern age. The trail awaits, shaped like a sine wave. An ancient echo in the furious depths of a cold night under a sky littered with millions of stars.

The first thing I left behind when I started my journey was this dark, shimmering sphere that surrounded me: the shadows of my past. I entered the trail and got rid of it all. I was focused on the immediate future, the depths of the unknown. The flawless blue sky above me and my aching feet on uneven ground. Deep breaths and high hopes.

On my way to the base camp I experienced an enormously heavy rainfall. Tons of water pouring from a pitch black sky. It seemed scary. But every drop that hit me was like a beam of energy to me. It wasn't frightening or uncomfortable at all. I felt my mind was rising up against my fears, lit on fire by ice cold water.

FinalIy I stare at the shadows of giants, longing for a different point of view. I feel restless. I believe anything is possible and within my reach. I feel my blood rushing through my veins. And then suddenly life is noticing me. Waiting for my move. I take a deep breath. And I start the ascend.
